James Carville Explains The Comstock Act
Beware! Christian Nationalists' Plan to Take Over Law Enforcement
Brace yourself for a journey back to 1875, where a law meant to curb one man's guilt over masturbation—the Comstock Act—still threatens to reshape modern American society. Our host passionately argues that this forgotten statute could be weaponized by current Supreme Court Justices and a future administration to police morality. Featuring an exclusive discussion with Senator Tina Smith and reflections on last week's podcast with Justice Breyer, this episode is a stark reminder that history's dusty pages can ignite today's political infernos. Ignorance isn't bliss; it's a siren call for civic action.

Why fear moral people?
Sure, zealots get carried away: Salem witch trials, Comstock Act, etc. But look carefully. Whenever such Pharisaical types persecute, the persecutors tend to be SELF-righteous; the ones they persecute far more honest and humble.
Honest and humble people don't make plans to take things over. To think that they do is to shrink from ghosts, which is far more likely a sign of self-righteousness.
I frankly think "War Room" says it all.
Just an observation, that's all.
